𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝟮𝟱:𝟭–𝟮𝟳:𝟯𝟰

This week we finish up the Book of Leviticus with the last two Portions it contains. I can't believe the years I spent just overlooking all the beauty this Book holds! And how much detail the LORD spends laying out to His people, His chosen ones on how they are to live and worship Him. These last two portions are no exception. I know in my own life, repetition is the key to learning anything. The more you practice it, the more it just becomes 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 to you. Last week, the LORD really began to have me delve deeper into what it truly means to be His Bride and it seems this week He is revealing the true 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 His Bride wears (the ring, if you will). Let's dive in!

Once more we begin to see a 𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯 emerging as the LORD lays out additional 𝗦𝗮𝗯𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘀, marked by '𝘀𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘀', His people are to observe. I find it very interesting the timing of this message as we are in the period of 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙊𝙢𝙚𝙧 between Passover and Shavuot. His people are to count 𝘀𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 weeks of 𝘀𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 days each - to a total of 49 with the 50th being Shavuot / Pentecost, and in this weeks lesson we learn about the 𝗝𝘂𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿, which is counted by 𝘀𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 sabbatical cycles (Lev 25:-34 says, "𝘚𝘪𝘹 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘰𝘸 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘪𝘦𝘭𝘥, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘪𝘹 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘱𝘳𝘶𝘯𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘺𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘨𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘯 𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘤𝘳𝘰𝘱, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘥𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘩 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘢 𝙨𝙖𝙗𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙝 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙩, 𝙖 𝙨𝙖𝙗𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙧𝙙; 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘴𝘰𝘸 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘪𝘦𝘭𝘥 𝘯𝘰𝘳 𝘱𝘳𝘶𝘯𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘺𝘢𝘳𝘥.). So again we see 𝘀𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 x 𝘀𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 = 49 to get to Jubilee!

Google defines the Jubilee year as this: 𝘐𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘑𝘶𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘦𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘪𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘰𝘤𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘴 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘧𝘪𝘧𝘵𝘺 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴. 𝘐𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘢 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘴, 𝘥𝘦𝘣𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘰𝘸𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘴. 𝘌𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺, 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘰𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘤 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭-𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨.

Do you know that the Sabbath (𝘴𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘩) day each week (𝘍𝘳𝘪𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘴𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯 - 𝘚𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘴𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯), is like a foretaste of Jubilee and ultimately of our final Sabbath rest? Each week we are called to step into a place of freedom from the worries of this world, to release debts, to reset our focus back where it truly matters, to the LORD. The Jubilee year has been something the LORD has been impressing on me for a few years now - the year of complete freedom. I am so excited that as I turned 50 this year, I truly entered my spiritual Jubilee. So much is happening to pull me away from the world and closer to His heart than ever before! He is doing something new, friends, He really is! But that isn't where I want to stop today.

As the LORD began to lay out all the 𝘀𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘀 to me this week, He reminded me of something my husband had quoted to me before. It comes from Ezekiel 20:12 which says, "𝘼𝙡𝙨𝙤 𝙄 𝙜𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢 𝙈𝙮 𝙨𝙖𝙗𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙖 𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙣 𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙈𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢, 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙢𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙄 𝙖𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢. " Reflect on those words for a moment. The LORD said His Sabbaths will be 𝙖 𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙣 𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙈𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢. This my friends, is the 𝘄𝗲𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴, so to speak. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗶𝗺, the marriage covenant!! Shew! But even contained within this weeks reading we see Israel being warned of another side of the 𝘀𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘀. The side of disobedience.

Lev 26:14-20: ‘𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘰𝘣𝘦𝘺 𝘔𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘥𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘺 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴, 𝘪𝘧, 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘥, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘳𝘦𝘫𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘔𝘺 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘵𝘦𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘭 𝘢𝘣𝘩𝘰𝘳𝘴 𝘔𝘺 𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘴𝘰 𝘢𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘺 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘔𝘺 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘰 𝘣𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘬 𝘔𝘺 𝘤𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘵, 𝘐, 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘯, 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘥𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶: 𝘐 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢 𝘴𝘶𝘥𝘥𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘳𝘰𝘳, 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘶𝘮𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘸𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘺𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘭 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘺; 𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘰, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘰𝘸 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘭𝘺, 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘶𝘱. And this warning increases - vs 21 ‘𝙄𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣, 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙘𝙩 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙝𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙩 𝙈𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙪𝙣𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙤𝙗𝙚𝙮 𝙈𝙚, 𝙄 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙜𝙪𝙚 𝙤𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙨𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙨. ' and a few more times, he adds another 𝙨𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣 times the punishment! I think He is trying to make a point, don't you? I believe by repetition and pattern, He is reminding us of the seriousness / importance of honoring HIS SABBATHS, including the weekly one.

It is a practice of trust - if the LORD finished Creation in 6 days and rested on the seventh, what work could we possibly have to complete? It is already finished! It is like we would be trying to add to His finished work! Talk about a doozy. Walking in obedience isn't what adds to His work, it is the proof of resting in that work! That is worth repeating, friends! 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸, 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸! Glory Hallalu-YAH!!! Man oh man what freedom we have in HIM!! And what a blessing that in just a few short hours we will once again have an opportunity to display our wedding ring boldly, as we pull away from the world and draw closer to our LORD, our Redeemer, the Lover of our souls, that we may experience a taste of Jubilee. That we will rest in our beloved-ness. Believe me when I say, this will be a sign for the end-days (already upon us) for who is in covenant and who is not. He is looking for those who carry the sign - are we?!?! To Him belongs the glory, forever and ever, Amen! #Torah #awakeningfire #theVoice #ancientpath #narrowway #signs #covenant #Sabbath #KeepItBiblical #Identity #Marked
